Barclays improve Online Banking Homepage

Barclays has recently made improvements to its online banking homepage based on suggestions from customers to make it more personal, more relevant and easier to use.

Features and improvements include:

  • Current and savings accounts display – Lists your 5 most popular actions and digital mini-statements
  • ‘My profile’ section – Contains your personal information and allows you to change your details if and when you should need to. This section is also used should Barclays need to send you a secure message.
  • Service Centre – Information and updates about any new services Barclays are offering online along with a link to all the services currently offered online.
  • Navigation – The ‘home’ button allows you to return to your homepage from anywhere in Online Banking. If you have both Business and Personal accounts, the tabs at the top of the page can be used to switch between them, avoiding confusion between the two.
  • Notifications – Should Barclays require you to do anything to your account, a note is marked at the top of the page alerting you to action it. Once you have carried out the action, the note will automatically disappear.
  • Help and support – Help or guidance will be clearly shown on the right-hand side of the page.

The homepage to each account has been split into three easy categories, profile, accounts and services, making the whole experience a lot more efficient and user friendly.
